Trisha trained at King’s College Hospital as a nurse and then at St. Peter’s Chertsey as a midwife. She qualified as an NCT breastfeeding counsellor in 1994.\u00a0 In 2001 she became an\u00a0 International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, re-certifying in 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021.<\/p>\n
She has been involved in setting up and running Breastfeeding Caf\u00e9s and drop-ins since 1994 (working at ASPH, Clarendon, Grovelands and Woking) and she enjoys working with mothers and babies and sharing her wide and varied experience<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Mary Soane<\/h2>\n
Breastfeeding Counsellor<\/p>\n
Mary has<\/span> been an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor since 2003.\u00a0 She facilitates the Breastfeeding sessions on NCT Antenatal courses and Introducing Solids workshops.\u00a0 She has been involved in setting up the Breastfeeding Caf\u00e9 in 2010 and running it ever since.\u00a0 She has also run other local breastfeeding drop-ins for many years. In that time she has supported hundreds of mothers with breastfeeding challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n She also supports new parents as a postnatal practitioner, postnatal doula and also \u00a0 Birthing Awareness 3 Step Rewind for Birth Trauma.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Jenny Sansom<\/h2>\n
Peer Supporter and Breastfeeding Counsellor<\/p>\n
Jenny first came to The Breastfeeding Caf\u00e9 in 2012 as a mum.\u00a0 She really valued the support The Breastfeeding Caf\u00e9 gave her and so began volunteering there each week.\u00a0 In 2013 she completed the UNICEF Breastfeeding Management training course and in 2017 she trained with Spelthorne Breastfeeding Friends as a Peer Supporter.\u00a0 She is now a qualified NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor, having trained through the University of Worcester.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n
